The Camp Giant is an innovative, multifunctional abseiling device that has been specially developed for industrial climbers and demanding rescue techniques. Its high load capacity of up to 250 kg (two people) and the sophisticated functional mechanism make it a versatile tool for rope-assisted access, rescues, ascents and belaying.
Robustness and ergonomics
- Housing made of hot-forged aluminium alloy ensures exceptional durability
- Ergonomically shaped lever for optimum control even under high loads
- Movable side section with safety lever allows the rope to be inserted without removing the carabiner
- Large attachment opening for the use of a second carabiner, which prevents unintentional opening of the flanges.
Safety features
- Anti-panic safety device: Automatically brakes the abseil if the lever is pressed too hard.
- Gradual locking function: Allows safe breaks when abseiling.
- Finger release on the lever: Enables faster rope gliding with little or no load.
