However, these have the disadvantage that they do not open wide enough to ensure easy hooking. This is different with the FORAS. The lightweight aluminum carabiner for strap material up to 25 millimeters wide opens sideways! Its breaking force is 23 kN - thanks in part to the H-profile construction. An automatic triple lock closure guarantees the best possible handling.
