The Petzl Am'D carabiner is a lightweight, asymmetrical aluminum carabiner in accordance with EN 362 in a D shape that is ideal for attaching equipment (for example for attaching a descender) and has a very good breaking load to weight ratio. The carabiner is standardized according to EN 362 and also has a keylock system that prevents the carabiner from snagging when attaching and detaching.
