Kask SoundControl hearing protection - SC1/SC2/SC3 The Kask SoundControl hearing protector is a high-quality earmuff for use with all Kask work helmets. The three colour-coded variants SC1 (green), SC2 (yellow) and SC3 (orange) cover different attenuation levels - from light to extremely loud ambient noise. The ear capsules are lightweight, non-conductive and ergonomically shaped for a comfortable fit. Thanks to the standard EURO mount (30 mm slot), the hearing protectors are easy to fit and infinitely adjustable. Models and areas of application SC1 The green SC1 hearing protector is designed for use in low to medium noise exposure, as typically found in industrial environments. With an SNR value of 25 dB, it offers sufficient protection while being lightweight at around 250 g.   SC2 The yellow SC2 hearing protection is suitable for medium to high noise levels, e.g. on construction sites, in forestry, in production facilities or in agriculture. With an SNR of 29 dB, it offers effective noise protection and weighs approx. 270 g. SC3 The orange SC3 hearing protection has been specially developed for use in extremely loud environments - e.g. at airports, during car races or when working with jackhammers. The Kask Superplasma High Peformance, like the Superplasma AQ variant, is a size-adjustable safety helmet that also meets the requirements of EN 14052. This means that, in addition to the standards of EN 397, it is also tested for side impact. This helmet is therefore suitable for workers at particular risk. Additional components such as a visor or hearing protection must also be tested in this class, which means that with the helmet that only components intended for the helmet may be used with it.   All-day wearing comfort is ensured by ventilation channels, a moisture-wicking fabric as well as a size adjustment system that provides maximum stability. The attachment points for adapters also allow for the mounting of visors and hearing protectors on the helmet. The WG11 rotation test is a test method developed by developed by Kask for the evaluation of safety helmets against rotational forces during impact, for which there is no official standard to date. Based on the ECE 22.06 standard for the testing of motorcycle of motorcycle helmets, Kask has developed its own test procedure under strict criteria. In this test, an impact is simulated by means of a test head and helmet on an anvil, which is rated as passed, if the BrIC value is < 0.68. All Kask products are at < 0.39.
