Die Vault Karabiner gibt es in zwei Ausführungen: mit Wiregate-Verschluss und mit verriegelbarem Lockgate. Der Lockgate ist ein verstellbarer Verriegelungsmechanismus (verschließt also nicht automatisch) ist auch mit Handschuhen einfach zu bedienen, lässt sich somit einfach verriegeln oder öffnen und ermöglicht damit das sichere Verstauen des Materials.
