Petzl Absorbica Energy Absorber Y 150 cm Without Hooks
The Petzl Absorbica double Y lanyard with the new, even more compact energy absorber is designed for movement along a vertical structure or on a horizontal railing rope and for passing intermediate safety devices. The Absorbica Y lanyard is designed for users with a body weight of 60 to 140 kg. The energy absorber, certified according to EN 355, can be carried on the belt to save space and is located in a cover that can be accessed quickly thanks to the simplified opening system. This protects the energy absorber from abrasion and can be checked regularly. Due to its compactness, the energy absorber does not hinder the person using it while moving and does not hinder work. In the event of a fall, the shock exerted on the person using it is reduced by the progressive tearing of the energy absorber's webbing. The maximum permitted length with connecting elements is 200 cm.

With the help of the supplied STRING element, a carabiner can be held in the correct position and allows it to be clipped in and out frequently. A screw-on RING OPEN eyelet, whose round shape ensures optimal positioning, can be used for a quasi-permanent connection. The end of the lanyard can be fitted with either a carabiner or an MGO Open lanyard with a large snap opening.
