Comfortable shoulder straps for efficient SRS ascender systems
Petzl STERNO shoulder straps are designed for connecting and stabilizing SRS ascension systems during tree care. The narrow, space-saving design ensures high freedom of movement without adding bulk. The material is deliberately thicker at the shoulders to reduce friction in the neck area and increase comfort during longer use. A movable bar in the front area supports dynamic movements during ascent. Three different connection heights allow the system to be individually adjusted to the user's height and the respective single rope technique (SRT/SRS) setup. STERNO is not PPE, but it is a useful addition to tree climbing harnesses in professional tree climbing.

Der gute Halt der Einheit bestehend aus Chicane und mechanischem Prusik gewährleistet beim Aufstieg den gleichmäßigen Durchlauf des Seils durch das Bremselement. Der ergonomisch geformte Hebel sorgt für ein gutes Handling und erleichtert die Fortbewegung bei der Rückkehr auf dem Ast. Das Seitenteil kann zum schnellen und einfachen Einlegen des Seils geöffnet werden.
